Christmas is not only a time of joy, sparkling lights, Christmas trees and mulled wine, it is also my favourite time of the year. I mean, how can one not love the smell of christmas cookies and the sound of crackling open fire in the chimney? Dressing up for Christmas has always been one of my favourite things to do and as the cold season is all about layering and spreading the festive spirit, the following outfits might give some last minute inspiration on how to dress all glamorous and prepared for the Christmas dinner with things that most likely everyone has in their wardrobe in some sort of way.
The Cardigan.
Cardigans are a girl’s best friend during the cold, wintery season because they are perfect for layering, look amazing and additionally and most importantly provide you with warmth.
Combining a grey cardigan with white jeans and a black turtleneck results in a classic, chic look for dinners that might be a bit more formal and require a classy look.
Cardigan: Rich & Royal, Turtleneck: H&M; Jeans: Only; Clutch: Zara
The Band T.
Not all of us like dressing up for festivities and revealing the girly girl in ourselves. Combining a white band t-shirt with black jeans and a leather jacket is not only a look that can be used for the fun holiday party with friends but can also be used for family dinners without looking too casual. Adding accessories like hats helps keeping the outfit edgy.
Jeans: H&M; Band T-shirt: NAPAEA; Leather Jacket: Zara; Hat: ASOS
PS: Shoutout to my friend Katharina’s amazing band NAPAEA who have just released their new single „Art Thou Lost At Sea“ – it’s an amazing song so if you want to support a young, ambitious band you should check it out! 🙂 xx
The Flared Sleeve.
Flared sleeves have been extremely popular in the fashion world this year so why not wear this amazing trend for a classy Christmas dinner with relatives at a posh restaurant. Worn with black leather trousers, the outfit gains a rocky edge and will definitely attract attention.
Shirt: & Other Stories; Trousers: ASOS
HAVE AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS WITH YOUR LOVED ONES AND ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS!
LOTS OF LOVE, SIMONE xx
