A place shaped and stricken by war, desperation and a pure and undestroyable will to live makes you contemplate the meaning of life and the freedom we are provided with that we often take way too much for granted. How many battles were lost, how many brave humans fell, in order for us to walk the streets the way we do, not bound to any restrictions.
Humans aren’t meant to be caged, judged and shaped into something they aren’t by society and although humanity has faced so many challenges, still not everyone’s allowed to be free. It is our choice and our duty to shape the world into a place worth living in where everyone is treated equally.
Something that once drew a line, an uncrossable boundary between families, friends and lovers, is now a place of art, love and bravery put into paint and words, engraved on the wall that once tore a world apart.
Once we crash the walls in our hearts in, freedom will last.
